Jitka Schmiedová is a Board member of Odyssey and former HR Director of several international companies.

In parallel to her Human Resources role Jitka Schmiedová (Czech) joined Muriel Anton in 2010 as one of the first mentors of Odyssey – the newly formed mentoring and leadership program for women in business. Jitka has extensive experience with mentoring as well as with driving Diversity & Inclusion in large companies.

Jitka is a human resources expert with over 20 years of international experience. In her career she held Human Resources director positions in diverse sectors, countries and cultures. She served on Boards and Executive Committees of multiple companies. For several years she was voted among the Top 25 women of the Czech Republic (by Hospodarske noviny) and recently also one of most influential women in the Czech Republic (by Forbes).
She is currently based in Prague.
