Igor is the Executive Director of Parks – Liberi e Uguali, Italy’s premier non-profit association of employers engaged in LGBT+ inclusion in the workplace.
Croatian by birth and Italian by adoption, Igor is a multilingual business manager with a previous 15-year experience in management positions in corporate and investment banking.
Under Igor’s leadership Parks has grown into a point of reference for LGBT+ inclusion in the workplace in Italy and it currently encompasses over a hundred major Italian and international companies and institutions operating in Italy.
Through his managerial experience and passion for inclusion, Igor leads Parks in the effort to help employers embrace LGBT+ inclusive practices in a broader and more intersectional approach to diversity, equity and inclusion.
He is a seasoned trainer on diversity management, inclusive leadership and LGTB+ inclusion to businesses and public institutions, lecturer at universities and speaker at Italian and international conferences. Igor participated in the preparatory work for Italy’s LGBT+ Strategy and for the UN Guidelines for tackling LGBT+ discrimination. He has authored various articles and essays on these topics and has contributed to several books on inclusion.
In his position, Igor is responsible for Parks’ business development and member base expansion. He represents Parks in Italy and abroad to leaders of the Public Sector and foreign diplomatic missions as well as to leaderships of other Italian and international organizations engaged in inclusion.
