EWOB and Board Women Denmark (Bestyrelseskvinder) are delighted to announce their partnership agreement, inviting female leaders in Denmark to join forces with European Women on Boards.
Board Women Denmark (Bestyrelseskvinder), is a nationwide board network for qualified female board members and candidates. Its purpose is to increase the number of women, who are engaged in value adding board memberships in small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs).
Through this partnership agreement, Board Women Denmark will expand the opportunities available to its members by offering them privileged access to a large European network of women leaders who are taking a further step in their careers and becoming drivers of change within European companies.
“We are glad to be a partner of EWOB extending our service to our network of female board members and together increase visibility of board competence in Denmark and Europe. This is an opportunity for our members to strengthen their international network of senior women throughout Europe and participate in EWOB’s programs on board competencies and leadership development.”, says Lone Hass, Board member at Board Women Denmark
EWOB supports women in their career ambitions through three tailored development programs, a dedicated individual membership zone and networking opportunities. At the same time, the organisation’s research and advocacy work engages European leaders to bring greater gender diversity in companies across Europe, including by supporting the implementation of the Women on Boards Directive.
“I would like to warmly welcome Board Women Denmark within our network of like-minded organisations. We believe that by joining forces, we can amplify each other’s work, create new opportunities for women, and ultimately achieve a broader impact for gender equality in companies across Europe.” Kristen Anderson – CEO, European Women on Boards
