The accelerated digitalisation trend has been proven by the latest statistics of Zoom, the video conferencing platform. Zoom has served approx. 200 million daily meeting participants at the beginning of 2020, compared to approx. 10 million participants in December 2019. The trend of video and web conferencing is likely to continue and it is expected to replace regular conference calls. With the accelarated growth of video and web conferencing, a new, urgent need has emerged and had to be addressed instantly – development of virtual communication skills.
