Almost 1000 representatives from the European business world, institutions, associations, journalists and more supporters of gender equality initiatives joined the virtual EWoB Gender Equality Awards 2020 on January 21st, 2021, 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. (CET).

During the online event hosted by Deloitte CZ, EWoB presented the latest findings of Gender Diversity Index 2020 and awarded companies that succeeded in reaching a high share of female voices and votes in executive leadership and boards. Congratulations to all three Winners of GDI 2020, Assura (UK), Wihlborgs Fastigheter AB (SE), and Grainger (UK) and TOP20 Best Practice Leaders for their great gender equality achievements!

Results of EWoB Gender Diversity Index 2020 indicate a positive trajectory. Substantially more companies have over 40% women in leadership, 13% today compared to 8% in 2019.

The world is changing. But it is not the same everywhere. It remains slow and uneven across companies and countries.
