European Women on Boards and The Ned Club are delighted to announce the start of their collaboration. By combining their expertise and amplifying their support for greater diversity in the boardroom, both organisations will collaborate to increase gender equality in non-executive boards across Greece.
“EWOB is very pleased to extend our network in Greece and we warmly welcome the Ned Club as our new partner. By July 2026, all stock-listed companies will have to reach 40% of women on their boards. It is thus essential to ensure that, starting today, achieving increased gender diversity becomes a priority for all companies and countries around Europe.”
– Kristen Anderson, EWOB CEO
The Non-Executive Directorsâ Club in Greece (NED Club)- established in late 2019- is the association for non-executive board members, of listed and unlisted companies operating in Greece. Based on national and international Corporate Governance good practices, NED Club aims to facilitate peer interaction, to promote the role of Directors and to develop professional competence of its members and raise the corporate governance standards of Greek businesses through their Boards.
âWorking together with EWOB, NED Club can help promote diversity in Greek company boards, by raising awareness, advocating for implementation and enforcement of the recent EU Directive on gender balance and sharing best practices for compliance. Our goal is to ensure that more women are represented on boards and that board effectiveness is improved as a result.â
