Digital Strategy Mentoring Program
As part of the European Women on Boards’ WELP program, we have launched a cross-border Digital Strategy Mentoring Program where the mentors are both men and women with substantial experience in the digital area and the mentees are senior women in business, who would benefit from a digital savvy mentor. The EWoB Digital Strategy Mentoring Program keeps its focus on education, information sharing and inspiration building in the areas of business digitalization (transforming to industry 4.0), leveraging the big data and understanding the opportunities and threats of digital aspects for today’s organizations. The content includes a comprehensive review of industry trends and insights from reliable publications and experts, real case-study examples and hands-on exercises for the mentees. The content of the program is designed to stimulate creative thinking on various possibilities how to embrace such opportunities, or face the disruption threats, and make the business fit for the digital age leveraging existing market position and consumer relationships. The program includes a face to face kick-off session, a minimum of 6 on-line sessions in mentoring pairs and face to face close-out networking event.
Program Kickoff 2020
EWoB is proud to announce the launch of the first of its kind cross-border Digital Strategy Mentoring program, held by EWoB on February 27th 2020 in Prague. Twenty-four mentoring pairs from ten European countries have begun their 2020 journey towards discovering and embracing the digital transformation. As per their individual needs, mentees will explore areas like Big Data Analytics, Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Blockchain, etc., in order to innovate their businesses and support the sustainable value creation. Mentors and mentees come from Germany, Belgium, UK, Netherlands, Switzerland, Norway, Spain, Finland, Czech Republic and Italy. They will continue working together remotely throughout 2020 before they meet again at the Closing Event. Our mentees are high potential women, selected from our network of followers and through our international network of local associations. Digital Strategy Mentoring Program is co-funded by the Rights, Equality and Citizenship Programme of the European Union.
