2018 is a year of change for EWoB and we are delighted to share with you some of the projects that we will implement in the upcoming months.
Our mission and goals are not changing. We will continue to promote the benefits of gender diversity at board levels and in senior leadership positions. In line with our values, we want to further develop EWoB with the aim to offer additional benefits to our members and stakeholders.
In a few weeks’ time, we will indeed launch a new website using the current best practices. More importantly though, in September, we will launch a new Talent Pool to increase the visibility of the very experienced and talented women that are part of it. Our goal for this year is to increase the number of women in our Talent Pool and the number of women who are being contacted for a non-executive board mandate.
To carry out these new ambitious projects, we have expanded our team and are pleased to announce the appointment of Sophie Chartier as EWoB General Manager. Sophie was the EWoB General Secretary since its creation and her in-depth knowledge of the history of the Association, combined with her extensive network, will be invaluable in the development of EWoB.
We have also hired Valentine Helsmoortel as EWoB Communication Manager. Valentine’s role will be to develop active communications around EWoB.
